The District, with offices at 8901 S. 154th St. Omaha, NE is requesting sealed bids for trail construction near John A Creighton Blvd and Bedford Ave in Douglas County, Nebraska. Work covered under this section shall consist of the fine grading of the site to conform to the grades, lines and contours shown on the Drawings. The Work shall include all excavation, shaping and sloping of all cut areas; all placing, compacting, shaping and finishing of all embankments in fill areas necessary for the completion of all site and roadway re-grading; including sub-grades, shoulder slopes and sidewalk subgrades. Work under this section shall consist of the preparation and placement of exterior portland cement concrete for all concrete site improvements including, but not limited to concrete walk pavement, concrete trail pavement; roadways, parking lots, curbing, combination curb and gutter, basketball court concrete pavement, handicapped curb ramps, concrete pavement under playground surfacing, concrete shelter pavement, heavy duty concrete pavement on the prepared subgrade, etc. where located and as detailed on the plans. The work included in this item shall consist of providing an accepted uniform stand of perennial turf grasses by fine grading and furnishing and placing fertilizer, seed, and mulch on all areas indicated on the plans as hydroseeded areas. This shall include, but not be limited to: disking, harrowing, leveling/fine grading, planting, fertilizing, mulching, establishment, maintenance till acceptance, etc. The Scope of Work for Omaha Beltline Trail - Phase 04 (OPW 54816),includes construction of a 10' wide multi-use trail, sidewalk, retaining wall, storm sewer system, concrete street pavement, and associated landscaping.
