Site work for a civil project in Zorra, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Oxford County is seeking Contractors to complete a stream realignment to move the current stream, located South of Oxford Road 16, roughly 350m east of 35th Line in Zorra Township, further from the roadway of Oxford Road 16. South of Oxford Road 16, roughly 350m east of 35th Line in Zorra Township, is the location of the stream that is to be relocated further from the roadway. Currently, the new stream meanders to the north, to the east and ultimately to the south as it travels through Oxford County. The County is pursuing a relocation of the existing stream to a new location roughly 10 to 15m south to remove any erosion concerns near the adjacent roadway. The general scope of work includes: - Tree Removal (within allowable time frame, as mentioned in these Tender Documents) - Access Road Installation - Erosion Control - Earth Excavation (including stockpile management) - Dewatering - New Channel Creation (including pools and riffles) - Cofferdam Installation (including Stream Plugs) - Stone Placement - Landscaping The Work shall be completed in the following Phases (as illustrated in the Tender Drawings): - Phase 1 - Construct New Channel - Phase 2 - Connect Channel to Existing Watercourse (During In-Water Working Window) - Phase 3 - Fill and Regrade Existing Watercourse Documents can be obtained at: https://oxfordcounty.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Wed Jan 22, 2025 2:00:00 PM (EST)
