This RFP is for the provision of supplying the City with traffic detection cameras and hardware. The City of Red Deer has continued to develop over the years with additional roadways constructed and intersection upgrades to manage the current growth trends. The City has a large road network with 151 signalized intersections and over 200 marked and signed pedestrian crossings. The City uses a mix of loops and video detection both at and upstream of our intersections. The City of Red Deer is looking to stock a video detection unit to be used at both new/rebuilt intersection and to augment our existing network. The City is seeking a system that can operate as a standalone unit that can detect road users and actuate traffic signals. Question Deadline: Fri Jan 31, 2025 4:00:00 PM (MST) Duration in months: 60
