Maintenance Pavement Markings Contract, Central - 2025, Various Locations, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset and Warren (South of Route 57) Counties; 100% State Funded, PE No: 2622619, CE No: 2622982 SBE Goals for this Contract 1% Estimated Completion Date on December 31, 2026 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project:5, 17 or 18 The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 50,000 L.f. Traffic Stripes, 4" (Callouts Less Than 50,000 L.f.) 40,000 L.f. Traffic Stripes, 4" (Callouts of 50,000 L.f. And Greater) 9,000 S.f. Traffic Markings, Symbols 15,000 L.f. Traffic Markings Lines, 8" 10,000 L.f. Traffic Markings Lines, 2" Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning the Contract. The Entire Work is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date Stated Above.
