To supply all materials, products, labour and supervision to complete the Huron Washington Parkette Playground which includes rubber surfacing, mulch, a sandbox, unit paving, concrete curbing, site furnishings, lighting, a playground, fencing, and irrigation. .1 Part A - Mobilization, Demolition, Removals & General Site Clean-Up o Mobilization, construction start-up and staging, inclusive of site protection hoarding and tree protection measures including arborist supervision of excavation and/or grading where applicable. o Stripping, removal and disposal of existing topsoil and sod as indicated on drawings and in specifications, including haulage and disposal. o Demolition, removal and disposal or relocation as indicated for various items including unit pavers, concrete curb/wall including any footings and base material, drinking fountain and granite boulder. .2 Part B - Site Work & Restoration o Grading and earthworks, including bulk excavation, rough grading, backfilling and fine grading. o Supply and install new playground equipment as specified, including third-party testing. o Supply and install new P.I.P rubber playground safety surfacing with EPDM wearing course including new granular base and interfaces with other surfaces. o Supply & install new sub-drainage works including connection to existing maintenance hole. o Supply and install new concrete pavements including concrete pads for new benches, umbrella tables, concrete playground edges at perimeter of playground and seating area and new concrete accessible playground ramp. o Supply and install new unit pavers over existing building roof slab. o Supply and install new unit pavers on aggregate base. o Supply and install new log edge and log steppers. o Supply and install new sand for sand play area. o Supply and install new umbrella tables. o Supply and install new benches. o Supply and install new ornamental metal fence with pedestrian gate. o Supply and install new water bottle filler inclusive of all servicing work. o Perform all electrical and lighting works including supply, installation, connection and testing of new lights. o Supply and install new non-potable irrigation system within lawn areas. o Supply and install new tree plantings. o Supply and install new mulch. o Supply and install topsoil and sod in all disturbed areas Documents can be obtained at: https://discovery.ariba.com/rfx/22104780 *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
