The scope of this project includes the installation of approximately 9,100 linear feet of 12" PVC force main piping from the existing Sombreretillo Lift Station to a terminus at a proposed sanitary sewer manhole located on the south side of Muller Boulevard. This installation will feature proposed air release valves and plug valves. Additionally, the project includes a section of approximately 792 linear feet 12" PVC gravity sewer piping extending from the proposed manhole to connect to an existing sanitary manhole located west along Muller Boulevard. The project will also include improvements to the Sombreretillo Lift Station such as new pumps, piping, and appurtenances. Each proposal and the proposal guaranty must be originals and must be sealed in an envelope plainly marked with the name of the project as shown above, and the name and address of the Bidder. When submitted by mail, this envelope shall be placed in another envelope addressed as indicated in this Notice to Bidders. Only proposals and proposal guaranties actually in the hands of the designated official at the time set in this Notice to Bidders shall be considered. Proposals submitted by telephone, telegraph, or fax, will not be considered. This solicitation is to be submitted in combination with Pan American Lift Station Elimination Project. The Pan American Lift Station Elimination Project is to be submitted as an additive alternate to the base bid. "Pan American Lift Station Elimination" The scope of this project is to install 2,968 LF of 12" gravity sewer main within existing/proposed easements, construction of proposed manholes, tie-into existing manholes/pipe, and install 207 LF of 20" steel encasement. Decommission an existing sanitary sewer lift station (to be completed by others). Surge, fill, cap, and abandon existing sanitary sewer pipe/manhole. Question Deadline 04/22/2025 at 5:00 PM CT.
