Lyon campus, located in Bent County Colorado, that sustained damage from a hail storm. Building roofs across the Ft. Lyon property were damaged to varying degrees. Some roofs only sustained minor damage and require minimal repair while other roofs sustained more substantial damage and require major repairs / replacement. The full scope of work per building can be found in the Appendix H documents provided by Unified Building Sciences. Scope of Services: Review Bid Documents for each of the buildings as part of this solicitation for the full scope of work. Bids shall include necessary inspections. Hazardous materials abatement should be included where necessary to perform the modifications. Full remediation is not required. Please review the bid documents for full scope of work descriptions per building. Final roofing inspections by a 3rd party code consultant procured by the state of Colorado will need to be performed and all installs approved before final acceptance of work. Building roofs are undergoing Hazardous material testing late 2024 and into early 2025. Hazardous material sampling, testing and reporting must be completed prior to selected contractor beginning work. There may be exceptions where work can begin prior to hazard material reporting completion on building roofs with smaller, less invasive repairs, but for this bid plan for a construction start in March 2025 If the construction value is $50,000 or greater a Bid Bond and Power of Attorney or Proposal Guaranty is required in an amount not less than 5% of the total Bid.
