The purpose of this request for Southwest (SW) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Locker Room Upgrade (this "Solicitation") is to evaluate and select a vendor to convert the men's locker room into a flex office space: Create new opening and install new 36" wood door with hollow metal frame and JEA-standard door hardware in wall common with break room (north wall). Close opening between toilet room and locker room. Remove all existing light fixtures, remove & replace all HVAC vents & grilles. Remove lockers, install framing as needed and replace drywall to match existing. Remove tile cover base. Remove mirrors, shelves, wall-mounted light fixtures, benches, and other furnishings or accessories. Install new ceiling light fixtures to match current LED standards. Patch & repair gypsum board ceiling and walls, paint all. Install carpet squares over existing tile; install vinyl cove base. Adjust existing tile if necessary to provide a safe transition at new door. Provide 2 new data jacks, location TBD inside room, as described in this Solicitation (the "Work") and to determine the best method for JEA to procure the Work with regards to pricing, quality, design, and workmanship. In June 1997, JEA also assumed operation of the water and sewer system previously managed by the City.
