New construction of four multifamily units in two duplexes known as Pine Wood Homes to be built at 5986 Voorhees Road in Denmark, SC 29042 Invitation for Bid (IFB) documents are available electronically on or after APRIL 7, 2025 Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent of the bid amount, payable to Southeastern Housing and Community Development, as bid security. The awarded Bidder will be required to submit a Payment and Performance Bond or Letter of Credit prior to starting construction. The Bidder must complete the instructions for filing bids included in the IFB and furnish all required forms with their bid. Answers to all questions will be posted in the form of an addenda via email, simultaneously to all recipients of the IFB All contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Develop Act of 1968 located at 24 CFR Part 75.27. The purpose of Section 3 is to ensure that employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
