District Wide Fiber Optic Wide Area Network (Wan) Services Central School District ("CSD", "District") wishes to receive proposals for both Leased Lit and/or Dark Fiber Wide Area Network solutions for E-Rate Funding Year 2025 (2025-2026). The District has 7 school sites and the District Office that are currently connected to Chaffey Joint Unified SD (CENIC Node) by a fully managed private WAN connected via 10 Gbps connections provided by Crown Castle The District wishes to receive vendor proposals covering the terms described below: a. Leased Lit and/or Leased Dark - THREE years plus Two (2) One-year Optional Extensions (July 1, 2025-June 30, 2028) b. Leased Lit and/or Leased Dark - FIVE-year term (July 1, 2025-June 30, 2030) c. Leased Dark ONLY: FIVE-year term (July 1, 2025-June 30, 2030) with Five-year Optional Extension (July 1, 2030-June 30, 2035) Questions must be provided in writing prior to 2:00 pm PST on 1/24/2025 and emailed to Diana Carrillo at Dcarrillo@csd.k12.ca.us. The subject line must read "CSD WAN RFP No. T-25/26-001". The responses will be provided in an addendum and posted on the District's website and on USAC's EPC portal site on 1/29/2025. If awarded the contract, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish i. A 100% Performance Bond, ii. Criminal Background Investigation/Fingerprinting Certification. Central School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality, technical defect or clerical error in any Bid Proposal Package, as the interest of the CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT may require. Any proposer may withdraw his/her proposal, either personally or by written request, at any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals.
