As of February 24, 2025, the job will be awarded at the upcoming March 3rd Board meeting and construction will start when weather permits this spring with a fall of 2025 target completion. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, storm sewerage, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, walks and paving, site furnishings, chain link fencing, block retaining wall, playfield equipment, and planting and seeding. The successful bidder, as determined by the City of Warrenville, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the City of Warrenville (DuPage County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the City of Warrenville, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month. The City of Warrenville reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the City of Warrenville.
