The Municipality of North Middlesex (Municipality) is requesting proposals for engineering services to develop a Road Needs Study to support the Municipality's Asset Management Program and capital and operations budget planning. The project will include condition rating using applicable MTO condition rating guides for asphalt, surface treated and gravel surfaces, creating short (1-5 year) and long term (up to 10 year) operations and capital project outlooks, developing policies for level of service improvements or reductions, improving the roads asset database, and developing policies for lifecycle rehabilitation options. It is expected that the following, as a minimum, will be available as background information to the Successful Proponent: - The 2019 Road Needs Study documents. - Shapefiles of the Municipality road network, sidewalk network, streetlight inventory, etc. - Municipality Design and Construction Standards. - Historical capital and operating budget details for maintenance and capital works related items. - Excel spreadsheet of current asset management inventory. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
