West Aurora SD Roofing Improvements Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Bank Draft in an amount equal to and not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to "West Aurora School District #129." No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the Owner. Inquiries received five or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of the Bids will be given consideration. 2. Responses to requests for interpretation will be issued as Addenda. Addenda will be issued to bidders of record. It is the responsibility of the bidders to check to be certain they have the issued Addenda. Final Completion: August 11, 2025. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or waive any irregularities or in- formalities in bidding. Subcontractors are encouraged, but not required to attend. After the pre-bid meeting, everyone shall visit the site to view the area of work, gather additional information, and ask specific questions. There shall be only one scheduled walk-through of the site. Attendance shall be taken at the site to ensure that all contractors have visited the site. Non-attendance can be grounds for rejection of bid.
