Crack Sealing, Rejuvenation, Fog Sealing CRACK SEALING: Bids are hereby requested for crack sealing of cracks 1/8" and larger on county asphalt road surfaces with hot applied rubberized asphalt. All bids shall include all material, equipment, and labor necessary for crack sealing in place. All materials and methods of application of crack sealing materials that are bid shall be applied in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. The bidder shall furnish reasonable and necessary information with respect to crack sealing materials that are bid, including specifications for application. Bidder shall furnish traffic control and signs as required by the County for safety purposes. HOT APPLIED RUBBER: per lineal foot or per mile of crack in place, With materials that meet or exceed ASTM D-1190 specifications. ( Material specifications to be attached hereto by bidder.) COLD APPLIED SEALER: per lineal foot or per mile of crack in place, material specifications are to be attached hereto by bidder. REJUVENATION: Bids are hereby requested for rejuvenation of county asphalt roads with the following materials in accordance with the following specifications: Bidder shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for rejuvenation of county asphalt roads, including traffic control and warning signs. All surfaces shall be cleaned with a power broom prior to application of materials. per square yard, in place, with CSS-1 or MS-2, as specified from time to time by the County Commissioners, with a minimum application of .019 gallons of CSS-1 or MS-2 per square yard. The above bids for rejuvenation shall specifically include the bidder providing a distributor, power broom, insulated oil tanker as necessary for storage of oil, water as necessary, and all other equipment and labor as shall be necessary for application of materials in accordance with the bid specifications. FOG SEALING: Bids are hereby requested for fog sealing of county asphalt roads with the following materials in accordance with the following specifications: per square yard, in place, for the application of CSS-1 of MS-2 as directed by the County. Bidder shall provide a distributor with operators, insulated oil tanker for storage and job use, traffic control signs and controllers as shall be reasonably required by the county for safety purposes, and a power broom with operator for spot cleaning of road surfaces as may be reasonably necessary. The County shall provide all CSS-1 and/or MS-2 and water to the job site for mixing and application. per square yard, in place, for providing a distributor with operators only for the application of CSS-1 or MS-2 as directed by the county. Bidder shall only be required to provide a distributor with operators for applica-tion only. The County will provide all other materials, equipment, and labor necessary.
