Description of Work: Project is to abandon approximately 11,500 linear feet (LF) of existing 4- to 10-inch water line in residential areas, and to replace with 8- to 10-inch water line. Scope includes: o Open cut and trenchless installation o Incorporating associated components such as gate valves, water meters, and fire hydrants. All other information relating to this project is contained within the attached Contract Documents. Bid Bond: A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. *Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as determined by the Commission of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State in accordance with the provisions of 40 O.S. 1971, 197.1-17, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein.
