GENERAL DESCRIPTION Furnish and install HVAC systems after the removal and proper disposal of old units including controller materials as stated in this specification. All materials shall be newly manufactured. The materials provided shall meet or exceed the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction Fiscal Year 2024-25 Edition Section 677, as well as the following requirements. The Vendor shall be responsible for the specified work during the contract duration. The Departments Contract Manager will email Vendor when to start and complete work on each item. The Vendor will need to coordinate with TransCore, who provides services the District-Wide Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Field Devices and Infrastructure Management contract. The HVAC units to be replaced under this contract are 10 units located at five ITS equipment shelter locations (two AC units per shelter location). Access and escort to the sites must be coordinated with TransCore. The Vendor will be given contact information upon award. The Vendor shall be responsible for setting up and removing all necessary maintenance of traffic measures at the applicable sites in compliance with the FDOT most current Standard Plans Index 102. The Department reserves the right to split the order into two or more separate fiscal years if required. All orders are contingent upon the available budget.
