Renovation of a municipal facility in Dighton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Smith Memorial Hall HVAC System Replacement Project The work of this contract includes the final designand installation of multiple heat pump systems, inclusive of furnishing and installing all required mechanical components and appurtenances for the proper heating and cooling of the Smith Memorial Hall. Work will also include coordination with the Town's electrical and plumbing installers. General Bidders must HVAC Contractors with 10 years of experience. The HVAC work for the project is estimated to cost $140,000.00. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total value of the Bid in the form of a Bid bond or certified/treasurer's check. The bidding and award of this Contract shall be in full compliance with Massachusetts General Law, all Federal, State and Town of Dighton regulations and is subject to the minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law Chapter 149, A26 to 27H and/ Federal Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the United States Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids when such an action is deemed in the best interests of the Town. Non-responsive and/or unbalanced Bids may be rejected.
