Estimated probable construction budget : $2,796,357.48 Bids for the Furnishing of All Labor, Materials, Equipment and Services (Work) Required for the Site, Dwelling & Non-dwelling Unit Improvements at Existing Individual Site(S) and/or Number(S)and Location(S) as Follows: Capital Fund Program Project Locations SC 8 - 02A Heath Springs, SC SC 8 - 02B Heath Springs, SC SC 8 - 11 Clover, SC SC 8 - 12 Clover, SC SC 8 - 17 Blacksburg, SC SC 8 - 18 Blacksburg, SC SC 8 - 35 York, SC SC 8 - 36 York, SC SC 8 - 49A Fort Mill, SC SC 8 - 49B Fort Mill, SC SC 8 - 64 Blacksburg, SC A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and made payable to the said Local Housing Authority or a satisfactory bond executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond Form contained in the Specifications and in accordance with the "Instructions to Bidders" set forth herein, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory 100% performance and payment bond or bonds. Attention is called to provisions for equal employment opportunities, and payment of not less than minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Project Manual, "Wage Determination," the "General Conditions", Special Conditions, and the "Supplementary Special Conditions" as amended must be paid on this project. All Contractors will provide equal opportunity employment. In addition to other work requirements, each bidder shall include with his bid certified evidence of compliance with applicable laws and regulations of the State in which the Project is located for licensing in conjunction with the Bid, including, but not limited to, the appropriate Contractor's License and Contractor Bidder's License. Effective January 1, 2018, all current residents, all employees, all guests, contractors, vendors, and all new residents of SCRHA1 will be prohibited from smoking on any SCRHA1 property or grounds. Chosen contractors and their respective employees are expected to adhere to SCRHA1 policy The Local Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Local Housing Authority. The South Carolina Regional Housing Authority No. 1 is an Equal Employment and Equal Housing organization and prohibits discrimination because of race, color, religion, familial status, sex, disability or national origin. ** doc info : Prime contractors who return the plans, specifications and other documents in good condition within the ten (10) days after the bid opening will be refunded their full deposit for the first set of plans issued. The cost of reproduction and mailing will be deducted from their deposit for any additional sets ordered whether returned or not. If no plans are returned, the entire deposit will be forfeited. In the event a prime contractor orders plans and does not submit a bid, or does not inform the Architect of his intentions not to submit a bid within seventy-two (72) hours prior to time of bid opening, he will forfeit his entire deposit for plans. The work shall be commenced at the time stipulated in the Notice to Proceed to the Contractor and shall be fully completed within Five Hundred Forty Five (545) days.
