Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project involves implementation of adaptive signal control technology and proposed fiber cable along Rutherford/Northfield Blvd from Broad St to Memorial Blvd. Fiber cable will also be run along Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd from Broad St to Rutherford Blvd. The project length is 7.000 miles. Project also includes ADA upgrades and pedestrian amenities at four intersections. The proposal contract specifies a completion time of on or before 450 calendar days after the start notice is issued. The City of Murfreesboro hereby notifies all bidders that a 4.5% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal has been set for this project and must be met or exceeded.
