The work involves cleaning the sewer pipes by hydrocleaning and cleaning the manholes, catch basins and pumping station by pumping out sludge, sand and debris. Some hydro-excavation work is also planned. The work period will run from April 1 to November 30 each year, and the bidder may consider a full-time presence of 8 hours per day. The duration and timing of the work must be coordinated with City representatives. The contractor will not be allowed to work on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays or outside the 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. time slot, unless the city official deems that it is in the city's interest to do so. This contract is valid for the period 2025 and is subject to the following provisions: At the end of each contract period, the contract may be renewed for one (1) additional successive period, i.e. for the periods 2026 and 2027, in accordance with the terms of Article 15.02 of the contract.
