Oxford Conference Center Re-Roof The City of Oxford will receive sealed bids for the re-roofing of portions of the Oxford Conference Center. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Oxford, Mississippi, in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at the signing of the contract. Bids may be submitted in either sealed paper formator electronically. It is recommended that all potential bidders visit the project site to understand the scope of work, the existing conditions and where the work will be performed. All bids submitted in excess of fifty thousand dollars($50,000.00) by a Prime or Subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance, or related work must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of1985, by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors.
