Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Port-Menier, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) intends to retain a Contractor to provide construction services for Telecommunication Shelter, Radio Frequency Antenna & Electrical Installation - Port Cartier, QC (Correctional Service Canada / Port-Cartier Institution) This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached ITT; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. There is a security requirement associated with this ITT. There is a mandatory site visit included in phase two.
