This Project Shall Consist of Furnishing Labor, Equipment, Materials and Work Necessary in the Construction of the Following Items of Work: Est. Qty Item 7,400 Lf 8-inch Water Main 2,700 Lf 1.25-inch Water Service 85 Ea Di Water Main Fittings Misc. Water Main Appurtenances Erosion Control and Restoration Documents Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Brookfield equal to five percent (5%) of the largest possible total bid or bids, including consideration of alternates. Pre-Qualification:Yes The successful bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within ten (10) days after the award shall cause the Check or Bid Bond to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages (Section 62.15(3), Wisconsin Statutes). The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor informality or irregularity in bids received. All proposals shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening date.
