Donald MacDonald Campground T-Dock Rebuild Rebuild T-Dock at Donald MacDonald Campground 5% if bid over $35,000 Indian River County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals which we deem to best serve the interest of the County. Scope of Work The purpose of this project is to rebuild the T-Dock at Donald MacDonald Campground, located at 12315 Roseland Road, Sebastian, FL 32958 (Parcel ID: 30382200001001000000.0), as outlined in Attachment 1. The contractor is required to supply all necessary equipment, materials, and labor for the successful completion of the work. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Decking and Structural Replacements: o Replace the existing wooden decking, railings, benches, and fish cleaning table on the TDock. o Replace any damaged or deteriorated stringers, cross members, and pilings, as necessary. Please note that the condition of these components has not been fully assessed, as the County has not conducted a detailed inspection. 2. Material Specifications: o All hardware used for the project shall be stainless steel to ensure durability and resistance to corrosion. o Hardware installed within pedestrian traffic areas must be countersunk to maintain a smooth and safe walking surface. 3. Alternative Materials: o As an alternative, the contractor is required to provide an option for using Fibergrate MicroMesh Decking. This alternative should include in the pricing any additional structural components required to support the Fibergrate MicroMesh Decking. 4. Renderings and Permits: o The contractor shall provide a detailed rendering of the proposed work, suitable for submission with permit applications. o The bid must include the cost for obtaining all necessary permits for the project
