Cook County invites the submittal of proposals to this Request for Statement of Interest (RSI) for Professional Environmental Consultant Services. The intent is to obtain professional environmental consulting services including: o Environmental due diligence o Phase I Environmental Site Assessments o Phase II Environmental Site Assessments o Phase III Environmental Site Assessments o No further remediation (NFR) documentation o Underground storage tank assessments/removal oversight o Illinois Environmental Protection Agency's (IEPA) Site Remediation Program (SRP) site investigations/development activities o Solid waste planning o Hazardous and universal waste management assessments and bid documents o Air monitoring o Industrial hygiene o Asbestos and lead-based paint assessments, reporting, bid documents, and abatement oversight o Bird and rodent control and consulting o Environmental report review and gap sampling o Environmental report documentation writing and review o Environmental design services o Environmental and remediation oversight services o Regulatory compliance o Stormwater management planning o Cost estimations o Subcontracting of Environmental Testing Agencies o Other Environmental assessments as needed by Cook County. The County reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any informality in the submissions and, unless otherwise specified by the Submitter to accept any item in the submissions. The County also reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any submission, in any combination that is economically advantageous to Cook County. All costs associated with the preparation of the firm's SOI will be solely the responsibility of the firm. Any response submitted in response to this RSI shall become the property of the County and will not be returned. The County is not obligated, either to purchase the full services or the products proposed by the proposer, nor to enter into an agreement with any one proposer. Lastly, the County reserves the right to cancel this solicitation in part or in its entirety. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
