The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Lobby Enclosure Ballistic Glass/Kevlar Panel Replacement Services. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Contra Costa Area Office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Lobby Enclosure Ballistic Glass/Kevlar Panel Replacement Services in accordance with the terms set forth in this Agreement. A. License Requirement/Certification: Contractor must possess a valid General B California Contractor's State License Board License. B. Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance in accordance with the Insurance Requirements found in this Agreement (Exhibit E). C. Contractor shall provide a Payment Bond equal to 100 percent of the value of the Agreement. Contractor shall complete State of California Standard 807, in duplicate, and submit prior to execution of Agreement. 2. The services shall be performed at: Department of California Highway Patrol Contra Costa Area office 5001 Blum Road Martinez, CA 94553 3. The services shall be provided during: All work shall be performed on weekends or evenings unless other arrangements have been made with the CHP Facilities Coordinator and Area office contact. A work schedule will be established with the on-site contact to assure a minimum of interruptions of the essential state operation and Contractor's work. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026. CHP reserves the right to reject all bids and to cancel this IFB if it is in the best interest of CHP to do so. Question Deadline 02/04/2025 at 10:00 AM PT Bidders shall immediately notify CHP if clarification is needed regarding the services sought or questions arise about the IFB and/or its accompanying materials, instructions, or requirements. Bidders shall submit questions via email to Kellie Au at kellie.au@chp.ca.gov. Following the question submission deadline, the CHP will post a summary response of the questions and answers to be viewed electronically. Titled "Questions and Answers to IFB 24C320011". CHP reserves the right to contact an inquirer to seek clarification of any inquiry received. All prospective bidders must sign-in prior to the start of the walk-through. Late sign-in will not be accepted. Bidders that arrive after the walk-through has started will not be allowed to sign-in. No bid will be considered from a Contractor that did not sign-in at the mandatory walk-through. CHP will not publicly open or read late bids.
