Reference Number 0000390285 This Project includes new MWBE and Workforce Goals (reference Sections SLR 19 and SLR 20), and consists of the improvements to ROC City Skate Park Phase 2, on New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) owned land beneath the Frederick Douglass-Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge. The scope of the work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Furnish, install, maintain, remove, and dispose of erosion control mitigation measures, including but not limited to, sediment fence, inlet protection, check dams, stone fill and construction entrance. 2. Provide soil stabilization measures during winter construction shutdown. 3. Demolition and disposal off-site of asphalt and concrete pavements, concrete wall remains, rip rap, fencing, and all other items as required to complete work. 4. Furnish, install, maintain, remove work zone traffic control devices, including but not limited to, signage, concrete barriers, and pavement striping. 5. Clearing and grubbing of vegetation and disposal off-site. 6. Saw cutting existing pavements. 7. Furnish and install storm sewer system including pipe trenching and bedding, piping, manholes, catch basins, clean outs, underdrain, and connection to existing sewer tunnel. 8. Earthwork, including but not limited to, stripping, stockpiling and disposal of topsoil, excavation and embankment, unclassified excavation, transport and disposal of miscellaneous urban fill material at a regulated solid waste disposal facility, import, place and compact select fill, and import and spreading of topsoil. 9. Construct new concrete pavements. 10. Construct specialty concrete features within skate plaza. 11. Repair heavy duty, asphalt trail pavement damaged during construction. 12. Provide striping on pedestrian trail. 13. Furnish and install site lighting and power distribution, including but not limited to, connection to existing power supply, conduit, trenching and backfill, concrete pole bases, poles, luminaires, lighting controls, wiring, panel board, hand holes and all associated fasteners. 14. Furnish and install artificial turf for non-paved areas underneath the bridge. 15. Fine grade and seed all disturbed areas unless paved, planted, or covered by artificial turf.
