Completed plans call for the demolition of a hospitality development; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; hospitality development; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of February 18, 2025, the project was awarded to JM Construction, with an awarded amount of $314,898.75.** This project includes a base bid and one bid alternate. The base bid includes the demolition of the existing building, the transportation and disposal of demolished building materials, the backfill of the basement area, the placement of topsoil within disturbed areas of the site, and the restoration of these area with seed and erosion control blanket or hydro-mulch. Bid alternate 1 includes the removal of parking lots, curb, sidewalk and other hard surfaces on the site along with the underlying aggregate base, and the removal of parking lot lighting, and various outdoor minor structures. Additionally, bid alternate 1 includes the placement of topsoil within the disturbed areas of the bid alternate 1 removal areas and the restoration of those areas with seed and erosion control blanket or hydromulch. Site Directions: The site is located at the northeast corner of English Street and Frost Avenue in Maplewood. The site includes three parcels - 1946 English street and two smaller adjacent parcels that are unaddressed.
