Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Richmond, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of February 24, 2025, this project has not been awarded as of this time. We do not expect a contract to be awarded until roughly mid-March 2025. We anticipate construction to start around the end of March. An actual start date won’t be set until closer to that time. The proposed work includes: Construction of a single span steel girder bridge 87 ft. long by 26.5 ft. wide and associated work. Corporate, certified, or cashiers checks shall be made payable All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2024 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. DBE Sub-Contractors must be on the MRCC DBE Listing prior to bidding. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Ray County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 5%. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. MODOT - Construction of a Single Span Steel Girder Bridge *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The estimated budget is between $600,000 to $700,000
