The Lynch Park Improvement Project is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Richard Allen Drive and Wesley Street in Newnan, Georgia. The approximately 9-acre site is a publicly owned park space with amenities including a baseball field and restroom structure, a pool, pavilions, a lawn, a playground, a gym, a paved sidewalk loop trail, and parking. The proposed project includes redeveloping a portion of the site to increase the number of available parking spaces. Additionally, the looped sidewalk system is amended, a new pavilion will replace the older small pavilion, and a bioretention pond is proposed to aesthetically treat stormwater generated by the increased pavement.
