Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saint Elizabeth, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,145-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project consists of construction of a New FEMA 361 Safe Room at the School Campus, which will comply with FEMA 361 requirements for a high wind event safe room. The work consists of, but is not limited to, selective demolition of site features, site work, new construction of precast concrete walls and double tee roof panels, structural steel framing, concrete, TPO roof systems, FEMA 361 rated windows and doors, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and interior finish work. The project is located at 240 Church St, St. Elizabeth, Missouri 65075 in Miller County, Missouri. Missouri Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to the work. Questions regarding the Project should be directed to Sapp Design Associates Architects, 3750 S. Fremont Ave., Springfield, Missouri, 65804, 417-877-9600. The Contractor's company shall have been in business for at least five (5) consecutive years under the current name and ownership and shall be financially sound and solvent. The Company shall have successfully completed projects of similar size and scope. Submission of AIA Form 305, Contractor's Statement of Qualifications shall be submitted to the Architect no later than 5:00 pm, Ten (10) calendar days prior to the bid opening, see Section 000500. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a 5% bid security in the form of a cashier's check, a certified check, or a bid bond executed by the bidder and Surety Company. See Instructions to Bidders for more information. Surety/Bonding Company must be acceptable to the Owner and be authorized to transact business in the State of Missouri. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and may waive any or all informalities in the bid process. The Owner's decision regarding the approval/denial of bids are based on various factors such as, but not limited to, quality, time constraints, and service. All decisions will be in the best interest of the district and shall be final. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of Thirty (30) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids. Bidder and any subcontractors must follow and enforce all requirements of Missouri's Prevailing Wage Laws.
