Annual Landscape Maintenance Contract No. 2 for Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District Operational Gate Structures, Outfalls & Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) in Unit of Development Nos. 1, 2A, 2C, 3, 4, 5C, 7, 9, 9A, 9B, 11, 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, 23, 31, 43 & 47 . All Contract and Technical inquiries should be directed to Kimberly Leser, P.E., District Engineer, at Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District and whose phone number is (561) 624-7830 and whose e-mail address is kim@npbcid.org, (the Owner) A key is required to access several of the sites for pre-bid review. Prospective bidders requesting use of the key will be required to provide a $200.00 security deposit in the form of cash, company check or money order prior to issuance of the key. Keys will be issued at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. The deposit will be returned to the bidder upon return of the issued key. Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified bank check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidders Grand Total Price indicated in the Bid Proposal Form. No Bid Proposals may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the scheduled bid opening date for the receipt of Bid Proposals except as otherwise provided in the Instruction to Bidders. It is the policy of Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District that those Small Business Enterprises that would be eligible for certification as such by Palm Beach County shall have the maximum practical opportunity to participate in the competitive process of supplying goods and services to Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District. The successful bidder who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Bidders grand total bid. In lieu of said Bond, a Bidder may elect to have a retainage withheld in the amount of five percent (5%) of each months billing during each annual Contract term. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, to waive informalities, and to readvertise.
