Scope of work will include (but is not limited to): Kitchen Cabinet replacement and work related thereto as indicated in the construction drawings. Also submitted with each bid shall be a certified check or bank draft, (made payable to: Jacksonville Housing Authority) or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety company in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. E-Verify The Bidder must provide certification of enrollment in E-Verify. The E-Verify certification number must be written on the outside of the Bid Envelope along with the Alabama General Contractors License Number. Section 3 The bidder must comply with Section 3 requirements provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid package must include; Bid Bond, Bid Form, E-Verify Certification, HUD-5369-A, the Non-Collusive Affidavit, and two Previous Participation Certificates, signed in blue ink, by the bidder and on the correct HUD forms. The Jacksonville Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Jacksonville Housing Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bids for the purpose of reviewing them and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
