Site work for a water / sewer project in Creve Coeur, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed Work is officially known as the Village of Creve Coeur Wesley Road Water Main Replacement and is further described as follows: The project includes installation of approximately 2,254' of 6" PVC water main on Wesley Road and abandoning the existing 4" water main on Wesley Road. TYPE OF BID Bids for the "Village of Creve Coeur Wesley Road Water Main Replacement" will be received and preliminarily evaluated on a Unit Price basis. The OWNER reserves the right to evaluate alternate forms of contractual methodology. BID SECURITY Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the Bid. No Bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Bids for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing Bids. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS The OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities, informalities, and to reject any and all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder of either the Base Bid or Alternate Bid.
