Pursuant to the General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 143-128 et. seq, contractors are invited to submit Sealed Single Prime Construction bids providing labor, material, and equipment for entering into a Single Prime Contract. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: The City of Raleigh requests proposals for installation of ADA Door Operators located at the Anne Gordon Center for Active Adults, Barwell Road Community Center, Five Points Center for Active Adults and the Walnut Terrace Community Center. All work to include electrical will be required of awarded contractor. All work must be installed to current electrical building codes and manufactures installation instructions. All work must be approved and inspected by City of Raleigh. All work must be performed licensed contractors with the State of North Carolina Contractor shall provide validation and Certificate of Insurance (COI) that all employees are properly insured. Contractor will ensure that the designated City of Raleigh facilities staff receive informal familiarization training of equipment that is installed after final inspection has been completed. Contractor will provide all installation manuals, specification documents and warranties to the City of Raleigh Project Manager at completion of project. All structure penetrations will be sealed and or repaired by awarded contractor. All methods and application of repair must be approved by City of Raleigh Project Manager.
