The County of Lexington, South Carolina is seeking sealed proposals for engineering services to initiate preliminary design for conceptual plans and an Interchange Justification Report (IJR) for a proposed new interchange at Calk Ferry Road at Interstate 20 (I-20). The Lexington County selection committee will evaluate each of the submittals on the following criteria: 1. Qualifications 2. References 3. Ability to provide the services in the RFPQ. 4. Previous experience with other similar projects. 5. Experience with SCDOT and FHWA. The project may consist of all engineering services necessary for the completion of the project. Anticipated services needed include: project management, field surveys, traffic analysis and modeling, environmental documentation and NEPA compliance, conceptual roadway design, and an Interchange Justification Report (IJR). Anticipated services are further described in the "Scope of Work" below. Other related services may also be requested.
