A statewide law firm is hosting a free virtual seminar in July for Gaston property owners who will be affected by the Interstate 85 widening project. According to a news release announcing the seminar, from the law firm of James Scott Farrin, more than 100 parcels of residential and commercial property in Gaston County will be impacted by the expansion. Traffic moves along I-85 at Exit 23 near Lowell and McAdenville on a recent morning. This six-lane section is part of what the state plans to widen to eight lanes within the next decade.
