**As of May 30, 2025, the project was awarded to DBE Utility Services, with an awarded amount of $4,167,216.74.** Water Main Intracoastal Crossing Anticipated Start Date: 1/20/2025 Bid Bond 5% COMPLETION OF WORK The Work will be completed and ready for final inspection within the specified calendar days from the date the Contract Time commences to run. Substantial completion shall be based on Bid 'A' for 410 calendar days or Bid 'B' based on 470 calendar days time at the County's sole discretion. Scope of Work The Scope of Work consists of, but not limited to, the relocation of the County's intracoastal crossing of the water main along the Manatee Avenue bridge. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularies and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Also, the County reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid/proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the County.
