The City of Waxahachie is seeking proposals for the removal and replacement of an outfield chain link fence at the Waxahachie Sports Complex, located at 151 Broadhead Road, Waxahachie, Texas. The project involves the removal and disposal of approximately 1,215 feet of existing 6-foot chain link fence and the installation of a new 6-foot R-panel fence, including 14-gauge green R-panels with kickplates and other specified components as outlined in the solicitation. The scope of work includes full turn-key services for the removal, disposal, and installation of the new fencing system. Removal of Existing Chain Link Fence: Total length to be removed: 1215 feet. o Height of the existing chain link fence: 6 feet. o Include removal and proper disposal of: 1. 6-foot chain link fencing material. 2. 6-foot poles supporting the fencing. B. Installation of New Outfield Fence (Sample Photos of R-Panels are provided in Attachment B of this Solicitation): o Total length of new fence: 1215 feet. o Material for fencing: 14-gauge green R-panels. o Support poles: 3 inch x 6 feet, secured into 6 inch x 6 inch kickplates. o Kickplate specifications: 1. Four bolts securing each kickplate. 2. Kickplates must be durable and weather resistant. o Backside support structure: 1. 2 inch x 2 inch tubing used for strength and structural integrity. 2. Railings: a. Three rails: top, middle, and bottom sections. o Top of the fence: 1. Installation of a trip piece that runs along the entire length of the top fence structure. As of August 18, 2025, construction is complete.
