The proposed work consists of facility maintenance on Village owned buildings including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gate openers, doors, roofs and as described in the bidding documents. The Village maintains two office buildings including two garages and a jail as well as three pump houses, one stand-alone garage and various outdoor spaces. The Work described in these specifications consists of performing Facility Maintenance and Repairs and shall include but not be limited to on-call routine and emergency maintenance and repair work on the Village's facilities. Raymond Drive Round Lake, IL 60073 Question Deadline 01/30/2025 Should BIDDER require additional informational about this BID, please submit questions via email to Eric Penkava, epenkava@roundlakeil.gov All questions shall be submitted no less than seven (7) days prior to the BID opening date. The contract shall be in effect for a period lasting from the date of award until April 30, 2027. The Village reserves the right to renew the contract for three (3) additional one (1) year period(s), subject to acceptable performance by the Contractor and provided that there are no changes in the terms, conditions, specifications and pricing structure unless mutually agreed to by the parties. At the end of any contract term, the Village reserves the right to extend this contract for a period of sixty (60) days for the purpose of getting a new contract in place. For any year beyond the current fiscal year, this contract is contingent on the appropriation of sufficient funds; no charges shall be assessed for failure of the Village to appropriate funds in future contract years. The Village of Round Lake reserves the right to negotiate specifications, terms, and conditions which may be necessary or appropriate to the accomplishment of the purpose of this bid. The Village of Round Lake reserves the right at any time and for any reason, to cancel this bid or any portion thereof, and to reject any or all bids. The Village may seek clarification from a respondent at any time, after the submission date, and failure to respond promptly is cause for rejection.
