**As of March 07, 2025, the project was awarded to HM Miller Construction Co., with an awarded amount of $328,605.80.** The project includes the replacement of existing storm sewer pipe and structures in the Walker Allotment in West Twp. All Contractors must be ODOT prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation's Office of Contracts, Contactor Qualification Section, at the time of bid, award and for the duration of construction. Bidder shall be qualified for the type of work included in this proposal and for an amount in excess of the bid. A copy of the current ODOT Qualification Certificate shall be included with the bid proposal. After the receipt of bids, the lowest and best bidder will be determined. Any deposits made with all other bids will be returned immediately after the contract with the successful bidder is executed; but in any case, not more than sixty (60) days following the opening of bids. The remaining deposit will be returned as soon as a contract is executed and secured. In case the lowest and best bidder shall fail to execute and secure a contract within ten (10) days, the award shall be vacated and deposit forfeited as liquidated damages, and the contract awarded to the next lowest and best responsible bidder who shall thereupon execute the contract and furnish the required bond or security for the performance of the contract within ten (10) days or forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages. The successful bidder will be required to furnish payment, performance and warranty bond in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the completed work, said bond to be that of an approved surety company, to the satisfaction of the Columbiana County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The Contractor shall have all work completed in its entirety by August 29, 2025 . The Columbiana County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids or proposals.
