Sarpy County is seeking qualified Construction Managers to construct the Southern Sarpy Expressway Project C-77 (25-15). This is a phased rebuild and realignment of Platteview Road into a 4-lane expressway with interchanges. This solicitation is a Request for Qualifications for firms that intend to be considered for the Construction Manager. The attached solicitation contains additional information pertaining to Proposals and Interviews for the selection process. Question Deadline 02/14/2025 at 10:00 AM CT A. Grading and paving of a four-lane hybrid urban section for the expressway on new alignment starting approximately 700 feet west of the 10th Street and Platteview Road intersection which will switch from a southern shift to a northern shift between 27th and 36th Streets and continue to approximately 42nd Street; B. Grade and pave a two-lane temporary connection back to existing Platteview Road west of 42nd Street; C. Grade and pave an interchange and frontage roads to connect the local street system; D. Two bridges, a prestressed concrete girder bridge over the expressway at the interchange and a prestressed concrete girder bridge on the expressway over the detention ponds; E. Grading and paving a 3-lane section for 36th street north of the expressway and 3-lane rural section south of the expressway; F. Grading and paving an extension of existing Platteview Road east of 36th Street to 27th street; and G. Grading and paving a new 3-lane roadway from relocated 36th Street north to Schneckloth Road. The estimated cost of this Project is $88 million. The estimated duration of this Project, including Preconstruction Services and Construction Services, is three (3) years
