Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Working plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the construction of a 35,000-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility.

Construction of a new building for the City Fire Hall 2 to replace the existing one. The scope of work includes the construction of a new facility that will house firefighter training area, rooms for the permanence of the service team, eight dormitories, a kitchen with an adjacent dining room, a relaxation area, a training room, changing rooms with showers, a workshop and a laundry room. The building will be spread over two floors to minimize the building's footprint. TIMELINE: Working drawings are underway. Owner expects to issue a tender for the general contractor in summer 2026 and start the construction in fall of the same year. Note. At the meeting of February 24, 2026 the owner's municipal council adopted the notice of motion authorizing the borrowing bylaw necessary for the completion of the project.
