This expansion is a proactive step to ensure that the jetport remains competitive and can effectively serve the needs of businesses relying on air transportation. As of January 21, 2026, work authorization for design and bidding has been approved. A civil engineer has been chosen, but a firm timeline for construction has not been revealed. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
