Site work for a water / sewer project in Piney Woods, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A. The "Project", of which the "Work" of this Contract is a part, is titled "Piney Woods Water Well Rehabilitation - RWAIG". B. Well to be rehabilitated is East of Henry Cannon Road and the new generator site is West of Henry Cannon Road. C. The "Work" is defined in the Contract Documents to include work as outlined in 02664, 02670, 03302, 16010, 16050, 16231, 16415 and as indicated on the drawings. D. Related work: 1. Documents affecting work of this Section include, but are not necessarily limited to, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and other Sections in Division 1 of these Specifications. EXISTING WATER WELL REHABILITATION Each Bidder must deposit with his proposal, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent of his bid, payable to the Piney Woods School, Piney Woods, MS as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. Contract time shall be 365 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of the actual costs incurred for each consecutive calendar day beyond the specified contract time. The Piney Woods School, Piney Woods, MS reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
