Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of October 8, 2025, this project had concluded. This project will consist of furnishing and installing approximately 2400 L.F. of 12" HDPE and 120 L.F. 10" C-900 PVC water lines, Boring 400 L.F. under Hay Creek and 300 L.F. on section line ROW for extra depth for future road, valves, fittings, clearing and grubbing and seeding. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check drawn on a State or National Bank in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total for all schedules bid, payable to the City of Belle Fourche; or, in lieu thereof, a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the total amount for all schedules bid issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota, payable to the City of Belle Fourche, as a guarantee of the bidder entering into a contract with the City for constructing the project and furnishing 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond. Bid evaluation criteria will be as set forth in the Contract Documents and Specifications. The City of Belle Fourche reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Each proposal shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Engineer, 511 Sixth Avenue, Belle Fourche, South Dakota 57717 Question Deadline 02/03/2025 No interpretation of the meaning of the plans & specifications and contract documents, or other prebid documents, will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the City Engineer, City of Belle Fourche, 511 6 th Avenue, Belle Fourche, South Dakota, 57717, and to be given consideration, must be received at least three (3) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the plans and specifications. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents. The City reserves the right to award the work as is most advantageous to the City or reject any or all bids. The work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced within ten (10) calendar days after the Contractor is notified by the City to proceed and shall be completed on or before May 15, 2025. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
