This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the "Board") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for RFQ 202500107 HVAC at Loughborough PS, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The project consists primarily of replacement of the geothermal heating system, which has reached end of life, and the addition of cooling in some areas of the building. The geothermal wells will be abandoned in place. The existing water-source heat pumps will be replaced with air-source heat pumps (ASHP) at similar locations, connected to roof-mounted condensing units and VRF controllers. The majority of the existing duct work will be utilized with modifications required at connection points to new equipment. Site Walkthrough Event Failure to meet any of the above will result in automatic disqualification from the tender process. Respondents shall attend the site meeting at their own risk and hold the Board harmless for any issues or damages arising out of their attendance of the site meeting. The Board will not consider any claims for additional payments during the execution of the Work for extra work or difficulties encountered resulting from conditions which were either visible or could be reasonably inferred from an examination of the Place of the Work and the available project information prior to the submission of Proposals.
