Nysdot Region - 05 The objectives of this project are to provide safety enhancements and also to enhance pedestrian safety on Goodell Street from NY 33 (Kensington Expressway terminus) to NY 5 (Main Street) in the City of Buffalo, Erie County. County : Erie The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2027. Construction is expected to begin in Winter 2027/2028. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2028. As of October 11, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2031. NYDOT - Goodell St, Tupper & Pearl; Ny 33 (Kensington Expwy) - Ny 5 (Main St) *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
