The work of this contract will include the replacement of 547 linear feet of sanitary sewer line, bypass pumping,6 sewer lateral connections, cleaning and internal closed-circuit television inspection of 261 linear feet ofsanitary sewer line, traffic control and surface restoration located within the various streets, alley and rights-of-way in the village of Castanea, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.The Owner will furnish any and all materials and supplies needed by the Successful Bidder at no cost to theSuccessful Bidder for the execution of this work. Materials and supplies that can be stockpiled in advance of thework will be stockpiled and stored at the firehall located at 111 McElhattan Avenue. Materials and supplies thatneed to be delivered at the time of installation shall be delivered as needed through the coordination betweenthe Successful Bidder and the Owner.The Successful Bidder shall provide the plant, labor, equipment, tools and supervision to execute the workherein. Compensation to the Successful Bidder defined herein shall be based on the Owner furnishing thematerials and supplies as defined above. Work performed on this Contract will be subject to the prevailing minimum project wage rates as established bythe Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry which are described within this Document. Each bid mustbe accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check or Bid Bond naming as payee or obligee, as applicable, Owner, inthe amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid as security for proper execution of theAgreement and submitting other documents as required by the Bidding Document.The Contractor is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act of 1978, P.L. 6, asamended. The Act and amendments require that the Contractor use or furnish only steel products (as defined inthe Act and amendments) which have been produced in the United States. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish Performance and Paymentbonds, each of said bonds to be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, all in therespective forms provided in the Bidding Documents.
