Design, Construction and Remodel of Fire Station #4. A facility previously purchased The Master Fire Station Location Report of 2011 recommended Fire and will be renovated to accommodate a fire station. The facility will accommodate Station #4 be constructed. With the Southeast Bypass nearing apparatus in three bays, fire training area, exercise area, and building support. The completion as well as the current and anticipated future growth in facility will be approximately 6,000 square feet. Apparatus are not included in the Capital that area, the need for public safety response times to be Improvement Plan Funding Uses according to the 2013 Needs Assessment Project reasonable and equitable to all citizens requires additional fire Budget. Apparatus are listed in the Capital Outlay Plan with an anticipated expense station(s). A General Obligation bond for $6,000,000 was of $2,500,000. As of January 27, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
